At Wyatt Johnson, we are always looking for new ways to give back to our community. This year, we are partnering with three incredible organizations for our Black Friday Test Drive Event.
YAIPak Outreach is all about providing the basic life necessities for the most vulnerable in the greater Nashville area and all across the country. Their focus is on the long-term recovery of the homeless, women and children in traumatic situations, and others, while also striving to rebuild the communities and improve the lives of the members who reside there.
Bikers Who Care shows that not all big burly bikers are scary. BWC is a charitable organization of motorcycle enthusiasts who have dedicated their lives to supporting The Dream Factory in Clarksville, TN. Together, they host the Camp Rainbow week-long venture for kids with serious physical illnesses, disabilities, and deformities, allowing them to just be kids without any judgment or stress. Camp activities include games, fishing, arts and crafts, swimming, and much more.
Montgomery County Animal Care and Control are helping pet owners be better while caring for local animals. Their mission is to continually enhance local animal health and welfare while pushing awareness and education around pet ownership, rabies control, public safety, and more. They do this by ensuring 5 freedoms for their animals. Freedom from hunger and thirst. Freedom from discomfort. Freedom from pain, injury, or disease. Freedom to express normal animal behavior. And freedom from fear or distress.

When it comes to community service, not many are as impressive as the Clarksville Civitan Club. The Civitan Club does incredible work with 100 years of service and dedication to the Clarksville community. That’s one of the many reasons Wyatt Johnson has supported and sponsored the Clarksville Civitan.
Our most recent involvement with the Clarksville Civitan Club was sponsoring their 2022 Scavenger Hunt at this year’s River Fest. The fundraiser offered a chance for participants to explore and discover local businesses, support their community, and of course, win a prize of $10,000 and $250 cash drawings, all for a great cause. That great cause is a scholarship worth $8,000 for one lucky Austin Peay State University student, with which the Civitan has a long-standing relationship, with many of their current members also being alumni of APSU.
Aside from the Scavenger Hunt, The Clarksville Civitan also runs fundraisers that benefit the Civitan International Research Center. Located in Birmingham, Alabama, this center is responsible for a wide variety of successful research including into various disabilities, PTSD in veterans and abuse victims, as well as Parkinson’s. The CIRC is also responsible for a leading brain cancer treatment using spider venom.
The Clarksville Civitan has been a staple of the Clarksville community for years and we at Wyatt Johnson are proud to be a part of their mission.
