| Clarksville-based Wyatt-Johnson Buick/Pontiac/GMC continues to outperform its company competitors in the Southeast region, earning the distinction of Top Dealership not only in Tennessee, but also Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina, Alabama, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Indiana. Dealer/co-owner Katherine Johnson Cannata attributes the recognition to Wyatt-Johnson’s ability to attract ”the most knowledgeable sales team in the country. “From the very beginning our father (the late Sid Johnson) developed a business culture of hard work, ethics and integrity. Empowering our staff to do their jobs is critical to our success,” Cannata said in a news release. “I came to this company a couple of years after I got out of the military,” said Mike Polston, director of sales at Wyatt-Johnson Buick, Pontiac, GMC. “I look back at the training and mentoring I received by Sid Johnson and realize I could not have made a better choice with my life than to come here. Sidney and Katherine have continued the same tradition Mr. Johnson established without missing a beat,” he said. Sidney Johnson, son of the founding owner, said Wyatt-Johnson strives to complement the customer shopping experience with a “low-hassle, no-pressure approach we have always maintained ... ” Despite a down market for new car sales, Cannata added that Clarksville dealers continue to shine.
